15 June 2026

Join the People's Advisory Panel and provide feedback on current projects - read on to find out more.

Use your voice to help shape Wyndham

We're looking for diverse voices across Wyndham to join the Wyndham People's Advisory Panel.

This is your chance to:

  • Get involved in meaningful Council projects
  • Collaborate with other community members
  • See how your input turns into real action for Wyndham

When you join the Panel, you'll also have the chance to be part of our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) group, which will help shape the recommendations for Wyndham's draft RAP 2027–2029. Around 50 Panel members will be randomly selected to take part, including both Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and non-First Nations people, bringing together a range of perspectives to inform this important work.

Find out more and join the Panel before 2 August 2026

Help us advocate for Wyndham's future

Last week, Wyndham City Council launched A Way Forward for Wyndham, our advocacy campaign for the 2026 Victorian State Election. The campaign calls on all candidates to support 16 priority infrastructure and investment projects that will help Wyndham remain a great place to live, work and retire.

The priorities are grouped into four key areas:

  • Roads: the Outer Metropolitan Ring Road, Wyndham Ring Road, and priority arterial road upgrades
  • Rail: three new train stations at Truganina, Black Forest Road and Sayers Road, a full redevelopment of Werribee Station, and electrification of the Regional Rail Link
  • Recreation: the Riverdale Aquatic Centre ($50M), Tarneit Indoor Sports Facility ($30M), The Big Shed community event space, Point Cook Indoor Sports Centre, Outdoor netball court canopy covers and the Point Cook Homestead Precinct ($8M)
  • Health: long-term funding to secure the Mercy Hospital's future and a new mental health service for Wyndham North.

We are encouraging community members to participate in the campaign by sharing your personal story.

Explore our 16 advocacy priorities and share your story before 28 November 2026

Share your feedback on our plans for the active transport network in Wyndham

Our Wyndham Active Transport Strategy 2026-35 aims to improve the path network and increase pedestrian and cycling use.

We would love to hear what you think is important to help you walk or ride more. Your feedback will shape safer, better-connected paths for everyone in our community.

Learn more or share your feedback before Sunday 28 June 2026

We've recently closed the loop on two projects

The final concept plans for the Riverbend Historical Park Upgrade and Farfalla Way District Park Upgrade are now available on The Loop. The plans have been refined following community feedback received during consultation on the draft concepts.

Other updates

  • Share your feedback on the State Government's Annual Victoria Police Community Sentiment Survey. It provides an opportunity for all Victorians to share their safety concerns, how they would like to interact with police, and where Victoria Police can focus efforts to keep our communities safer.
  • Share your feedback on the plans for a new natural gas import terminal in Port Phillip Bay. the State Government is asking for feedback on this project before an independent group of experts are tasked with assessing the project. Share your feedback and learn more before Friday 26 June.
  • Our Youth Survey is still open! So far more almost 800 young people in Wyndham have shared their feedback. The survey closes on Tuesday 30 June, so there is still lots of time to have your say.

As always, we're available to help with any questions via engagement@wyndham.vic.gov.au

Looking forward to seeing you on The Loop soon,
