How we've included your feedback!
In response to community feedback, several updates have been made to the final concept plan.

Swing set
The existing 5-way swing will be replaced with a new 6-way swing instead of a single bird’s nest swing.

Vegetation
Selected bulky vegetation will be removed from the park to improve sight lines and address safety concerns raised.

Fencing
Fencing around the grass lawn was requested during consultation in response to smaller vehicles such as e-bikes damaging the surface. Localised fencing has not been included in the final design as it would have limited effectiveness, and fully fencing the Reserve is outside of the scope of the Upgrade

Public toilet and fitness equipment
Strong community support was received for both the Public Toilet and Fitness Equipment Area. These will be delivered in line with the original concept design.

Picnic Shelter
The existing picnic shelter will be repaired to fix water leaks.

Farfalla Way District Park Upgrade - What's happening?
We’re upgrading Farfalla Way Park in Tarneit to a District Park to create more play opportunities and better support the needs of the local community. The improvements will include:
- New district park level play equipment offering more variety for children of different ages and abilities,
- An upgraded BBQ and picnic area to make gatherings easier and more enjoyable,
- A new public toilet for improved convenience,
- Outdoor fitness equipment to support healthy, active lifestyles, and
- Landscape improvements to create a cooler and more attractive environment.
