Oaktree Avenue Park in Wyndham Vale is getting an upgrade and we want your feedback.

Why we are upgrading Oaktree Avenue Park?

Oaktree Avenue Park in Wyndham Vale has been flagged for an upgrade as part of Council's park upgrade strategy for the whole of Wyndham as detailed in the Play Space Strategy and Open Space Strategy.

These strategies addresses the ageing infrastructure of our outdoor spaces, including playground equipment, pathways, furniture and landscaping in order to meet the expectations of the local residents and the broader community.

We are seeking your feedback on how we should upgrade Oaktree Avenue Park so we can gain a better understanding of what the community likes about the park, how they use it and how the park should be upgraded. Following feedback from the community, a landscape concept plan will be created to consolidate the initial feedback and highlight the key elements of the project.

The existing tennis court and playground upgrade are the main focus areas of the Oaktree Avenue Park upgrade. You can view the plan detailing both of these elements via the document library.
