Four parks are getting an upgrade!
The Tarneit Parks Revitalisation project will deliver upgrades to four parks in Tarneit, with improved play spaces, new nature play areas, fitness equipment stations and seating.
As part of the State Government's Suburban Revitalisation Program, the parks included in this project include Samaria Street Park, Tarneit Lakes, Camelot Park and Moondara Street Park. (Council asked for detailed feedback on Moondara Street Park in 2020 - you can view the plans here).
These works will refresh these older park spaces with brand-new playgrounds for our community, fitness equipment, new and improved seating areas, more trees and open-space nature play areas.
What's planned for our parks?
New nature play areas to be added to the existing playground.
As part of the consultation for Wyndham's Dog Off Leash Approach, a new fenced dog off-leash area will also be built at Camelot Park.
