May Community Update

27 May 2025

Loop

Engagement at Wyndham keeps ticking along with two projects open for your feedback.

Keep reading to learn more.

We're looking for feedback on animals in our City

Every four years, councils need to review their Domestic Animal Management Plan (DAMP) and develop a new one. We're currently reviewing our previous DAMP and preparing a new plan for the next four years.

The DAMP includes things like promotion of responsible pet ownership, minimising the risks of dog attacks, encouraging pet registration and minimising cat and dog nuisances.

You don't need to be a pet owner to participate, we value input from all community members.

Share your feedback here before Sunday 31 May.

A new park for Hoppers Crossing

We're upgrading Woodville Park in Hoppers Crossing as part of Wyndham's Play Space Strategy and as an action from the Woodville Place Plan.

Our plans for the park include new play equipment, including a We-Go Swing, a new BBQ and picnic setting, lighting and a public toilet.

We want to know what you think before we finalise our plans and begin construction early next year.

Share your feedback here before Monday 23 June.

Project Update: Budget, Council Plan, Long Term Financial Plan and Asset Plan

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback on our Draft Budget, Council Plan, Long Term Financial Plan and Asset Plan earlier this month. We received lots of important feedback for these documents, more than we have ever had in the past.

Your feedback will be presented to Councillors to help them finalise these important documents before the June Council Meeting.

As always, we're available to help with any questions via engagement@wyndham.vic.gov.au

Looking forward to seeing you on The Loop soon,
