July Community Update

23 July 2025

We're now halfway through the year and have a number of engagement projects open for your feedback.

Keep reading to learn more.

Manor Lakes is getting a new dog off leash area!

Hindmarsh Drive Reserve in Manor Lakes has been identified as a new location for a dog off leash area. This is due to the local area having the highest number of registered dogs, and no existing or nearby off-leash areas.

We want to know what you think of our draft concept plan. Your survey feedback will help finalise our plans before construction begins in early 2026.

You can also come and chat with the project team in August to share your feedback in person:

  • Saturday 9 August 2025, 10AM-1PM, Hindmarsh Drive Reserve, 23 Manor Lakes Boulevard, Manor Lakes.

Share your feedback here before Sunday 17 August 2025.

Want to understand how Wyndham City makes budget decisions? Bring your ideas and questions to our community Budget Forum next month.

The Forum will include a presentation by Wyndham City's CEO, Stephen Wall, on Council's financial position and its challenges, legislative requirements of community engagement and how community feedback informs council’s work.

A Q&A session with Councillors and Staff and discussions around future budget engagement opportunities will also take place.

Budget Forum details:

  • Saturday 16 August 2025, 9:30-11AM, Wyndham Civic Centre, 45 Princes Highway, Werribee.

Places are limited so registration is essential. Register below before Monday 11 August at 5PM.

A new sporting reserve is nearly ready to open in Tarneit

The Polly Parade Reserve will include three sports fields for soccer and cricket, six tennis courts, including netball court overlays, cricket practice nets, lighting and pathways adding to the already completed play space and BBQ and picnic area.

Before the Reserve opens, we want to hear from local residents and sporting groups to help shape how the Reserve is activated.

Share your feedback here before Monday 4 August.

An update on the Onsite Wastewater Management Plan

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project.

The Onsite Wastewater Management Plan was endorsed by Council on 22 July 2025.

We've just published the engagement report here which highlights everything you told us. You can download the final Plan there too.
