We’re looking for new members for our People's Advisory Panel who are passionate about helping to shape Wyndham. The Panel is open to everyone, you don’t need to have any special knowledge about Council to join.
To make sure the Panel is representative of Wyndham, all community members, including women, First Nations peoples, people with disability, young people, LGBTQIA+ people and people from multicultural backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Joining the People's Advisory Panel will give you the opportunity to use your lived experience and local knowledge to provide regular advice and feedback to Council. You will also connect with other residents to discuss topics that are important to the Wyndham community.

As part of the Future Wyndham project, we’ll be randomly selecting around 150 members of the Panel in early 2025 to work together and create our draft Wyndham 2050 Community Vision.
The People’s Advisory Panel is a great opportunity to have some input into future plans that affect the residents of Wyndham and to ensure that Wyndham City hears from its diverse community.
Panel members are consulted on a range of Council projects to provide meaningful community feedback and input based on their lived experiences and local knowledge.
As part of the Future Wyndham project, we’ll be randomly selecting around 150 members of the Panel in early 2025 to work together and create our draft Wyndham 2050 Community Vision.
We’ll also ask for your feedback on lots of different topics to help create the Council Plan, Long Term Financial Plan and Asset Plan.

To ensure the Panel is representative of Wyndham, a diverse range of community members, including women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander – First Nations peoples, people with disability, young people, LGBTQIA+ people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Elected representatives from any level of government, paid employees of any political party and Wyndham City Council employees and any Councillors from the past two terms cannot join.

Registration for the People’s Advisory Panel is open and will close at 11.59pm on Sunday 25 August.
We’re looking for more members to get involved in the Panel until October 2025.
Over your membership, you may be asked to get involved in large workshops that are over a few days, smaller focus groups, interviews or be asked to provide your ideas via a survey. These can be in-person or online.

There will also be opportunities to connect with your fellow Panel members in forums and meetings to discuss those issues most important to you.
