• Event Accessibility

    We invited members of the Panel who are living with disability or are a carer of someone with a disability to attend either the Children's Week Picnic or the State Rose & Garden Show and then answer a few questions online regarding your experience around accessibility. We had five members participate and provide valuable feedback to help make Wyndham events more accessible and inclusive for the community.

  • Help shape Council's online services

    Our Customer Experience team provided an opportunity to all Panel members to participate in an online card sorting exercise. The purpose was to help us better organise and label services on our website, making it easier for everyone to do things online. Participants learned how their participation and insights helped inform the build of our digital customer request pages.

  • Community Engagement and The Loop Review

    Members of the Panel were asked to review Community Engagement processes at Wyndham and share feedback on our online engagement platform, The Loop.

  • Draft Wyndham Housing and Neighbourhood Character

    A workshop hosted for members of the People’s Advisory Panel asked for feedback on developing a Strategy which can influence the location and design of new housing to help ensure that new homes are well-located and enhance the character of Wyndham's unique neighbourhoods.

  • Tarneit Performing Arts Centre

    Members were invited to complete two surveys, developed specifically for the Panel, to help inform the project needs and development of the Tarneit Performing Arts Centre.

  • Wyndham Health, Housing and Homelessness Alliance

    Panel members attended two workshops as part of the H3 Alliance Group. Workshops were attended by members with lived or industry experience to provide suggestions on how to implement the actions in a more inclusive and impactful way.

  • ​Customer Experience Website Review​

    Panel members were asked to help review Wyndham’s current website and how customer service requests are lodged to help make the process easier for community members.
