About The Loop

The Loop is Wyndham City’s online community engagement platform. It is the community’s online space to stay informed, join discussions and shape projects that matter to you.

We ask for feedback on a variety of topics from plans to building community centres and sporting facilities, to improvements to our business districts, parks, roads, festivals and much more.

The Loop - Frequently Asked Questions

Projects that are open for feedback are published on The Loop and able to be translated into ten different languages.

You can share your thoughts and ideas by responding to short surveys and other online tools or providing feedback face-to-face when opportunities to meet are available.

The Loop is an additional online engagement tool which complements traditional face-to-face consultation, such as workshops, pop-ups and forums. It provides an alternative and convenient option for those who may not be able to attend face-to-face activities.

Signing up to The Loop is your opportunity to share ideas and help shape Wyndham projects. Signing up is easy and means that you don’t miss an opportunity!

Just answer a few questions and you will receive email alerts for projects and content that match your interests. You can explore projects by topic (roads, buildings, families etc.) or by suburbs and follow projects as they progress to see how your input is used.

Your feedback is just one important input into the decision making process for this project.

A Community Engagement Report will be provided after the engagement process has closed which will report back on what you told us.

We will combine your feedback received with other evidence, including research and customer data, expert knowledge and our strategic policies and guiding legislation to come to an informed decision around the next steps for this project.

Please only provide one feedback submission per person. All feedback received and IP addresses will be monitored to make sure no multiple entries or SPAM responses are submitted.

Knowing a little more about who we hear from in our community means we can better understand who is providing feedback and if that feedback is representative of the Wyndham population.

This data can also help us to keep improving our engagement processes to make sure we hear from everyone to help Council decision making.
