We’re listening. So far you’ve told us that you’re imagining the upcoming community centre as an extension of your homes. We’ve heard that you want it to be a safe, warm and enticing place where local people of all ages and backgrounds gather, connect and engage in community. We’re working to ensure that Centre partners with local people to reflect, nurture, sustain and celebrate what is unique about the local community and provides spaces for services and activities the community needs.

As the community continues to build on this vision, the design team Canvas Projects have been working on a concept design based on the input received to date. They have been looking at how the community hopes and dreams for the centre can be turned into reality and are keen to share the result and to provide further opportunity for further input and to ensure the design reflects what you envisioned.

You are invited to hear from the design team and to continue on the conversation and journey as the project takes shape. The workshop will be held online via Zoom.
