Safe and active travel for everyone

Making sure students travel safely to and from school is one of the most important issues for school communities. Safe travel creates a safer environment for pedestrians, cyclists and all motorists.

Council has an important role in making sure our residents are safe around our local schools which includes providing school crossing supervisors and infrastructure that supports safe travel for pedestrians and motorists.

After being awarded funding via the TAC Local Government Grant Program, we're looking for feedback on safety issues around Woodville Primary School, Bellbridge Primary School and Truganina South Primary School.

While not a focus of this current project, feedback is welcomed from all schools across Wyndham relating to safe and active travel.

We want to know your ideas and thoughts to improve road safety in and around your local school to support active travel to school to ensure local areas are a safe space for all road users.

We are seeking your input into possible solutions that can be trialled around schools resulting in improved neighbourhood safety.

All suggested ideas will be reviewed to ensure they will assist in delivering appropriate safety improvements to the local area.

Complete the survey below before 11:59PM Sunday 26 February 2023 and let us know what you think.
