Lighting up Levittown Rise
Since the dog off-leash area opened at Levittown Rise Park in late 2023, we’ve been busy planning works to other parts of the park to make it even more enjoyable for everyone in the community.
One exciting part of the project will bring new life to the iconic incinerator built back in 1966. We’re transforming it into a striking feature for the park, adding lighting and a viewing platform on the 'hopper' for amazing views out to the You Yangs.
Around the incinerator, we’ll be creating a new open space with paths for both cyclists and pedestrians, along with new park furniture, trees and landscaping to make it a comfortable, inviting area for all to enjoy.

How to get involved
We want to know what you think of our plans for Levittown Rise Park, including the Incinerator works (new viewing platform and lighting plans) and the surrounding open space.How will my feedback be used?
The feedback received will inform the design of this project. Your input will impact the lighting plan for the incinerator and which parts of the incinerator will be lit up at night.
Want to share your feedback in person?
Members of the project team will be at the Incinerator site in November. No registration required, just come and meet the team and share your feedback in person or ask any questions you might have about the project.
