Step 2 - Community Engagement

The Woodville Neighbourhood Activity Centre (NAC) is one of the oldest in Wyndham. It currently comprises a local shopping centre, two schools, open spaces, recreation facilities and a kindergarten.

Woodville NAC does not currently have a vision, plan, design guidelines or governance arrangements to support or direct its operation and evolution. We are working towards filling this gap with the development of a Woodville Place Plan.

We have completed the first step in a three step community engagement process, where we heard what Woodville residents and visitors value most about their neighbourhood, how the activity centre can be improved and what the key issues are for the area.

How can I get involved?

We're looking for community members who live near, work, visit, or use the Woodville Activity Centre to become a member of the Woodville Neighbourhood Team.

Your participation will help to inform the first draft of the Woodville Place Plan and help to ensure the needs and priorities of your neighbourhood are addressed.

We are running three special workshops for the Woodville Neighbourhood Team:

  • Monday 29 May between 5.30pm – 8.00pm
  • Saturday 17 June between 10.30am – 2.30pm
  • Thursday 22 June between 5.30pm – 8.00pm

All workshops will be held nearby at the Encore Events Centre, located at 80 Derrimut Rd, Hoppers Crossing.

The workshops will be facilitated by engagement specialists, CoFutures, and will include a range of creative, interactive, and fun activities.

Registrations have now closed.
