Thanks again to everyone who provided feedback on the four new proposed public toilets across Wyndham. Based on community feedback, toilets will be installed in Principal Drive Park in Wyndham Vale, Delaney Boulevard Park in Williams Landing and Loyola Road Reserve in Werribee.
As there was little community support for a new public toilet at Conquest Drive Park in Werribee, construction of a toilet in this location will be deferred. It will be reconsidered for construction in a future year at the request of the community.
Public toilets are important facilities that allow community members to enjoy our open spaces comfortably and for longer periods of time.
Since we adopted our Public Toilet Policy in June 2023, we've been planning for new public toilets to make sure community members have access to safe and clean toilets across our City.
Based on community feedback, visitation levels and facilities nearby, we've designed new public toilets for Conquest Drive Park and Loyola Road Park in Werribee as well as Delaney Boulevard Park in Williams Landing and Principal Drive Park in Wyndham Vale.
A new public toilet is proposed for Conquest Drive Park located at Conquest Drive in Werribee.
The park was recently upgraded to include a new half basketball court, new playground, fitness equipment, upgraded kickabout lawn, gazebo refurbishment, BBQ upgrade with additional shelter and picnic setting replacement, additional trees and garden beds and lighting.
A proposed new public toilet will complete the works at this park to make sure community members can enjoy the open space comfortably.
You can view our plans for the new public toilet below, including where it will be located in the park and what it will include.
A new public toilet is proposed for Loyola Road Park located at Loyola Road in Werribee.
The park currently includes a playground, bbq area, fitness equipment and a skate park. A proposed new public toilet added to the area will make sure skaters, scooter riders and park visitors can spend a longer time at the park.
You can view our plans for the new public toilet below, including where it will be located in the park and what it will include.
A new public toilet is proposed for Delaney Boulevard Park located on Delaney Boulevard in Williams Landing.
The park currently includes a playground inspired by the nearby RAAF base, a basketball court, fitness equipment and a bbq area.
A proposed new public toilet at Delaney Boulevard Park will provide community members with the opportunity to visit for longer. You can view our plans for the new public toilet below, including where it will be located in the park and what it will include.
A new public toilet is proposed for Principal Drive Park located off Principal Drive in Wyndham Vale.
The park currently includes a basketball court, playground, a bbq area and open spaces areas. The addition of a proposed new public toilet to the park will ensure community members can comfortably spend a longer time at this local park.
You can view our plans for the new public toilet below, including where it will be located in the park and what it will include.
Share your feedback on our plans for proposed public toilets in Conquest Drive Park and Loyola Road Park in Werribee as well as Delaney Boulevard Park in Williams Landing and Principal Drive Park in Wyndham Vale below. Your feedback will help finalise the designs before construction begins next year.

The engagement process for our Public Toilet Policy asked for community feedback on 30 new sites for new public toilets in Wyndham. These four new public toilets were included in the engagement process which found a need for new facilities in these open spaces based on visitation, community need and existing facilities nearby.
The proposed toilet site in each of these open spaces were chosen based on accessibility, view lines from the street and playground and access to water, sewer and power connections.
Our standard toilet design will be installed at each location, similar to the below image (a public toilet at Fraser Street Park in Hoppers Crossing).
Yes, each new toilet block will include two cubicles which will both be gender neutral. One of the cubicles will be an all abilities cubicle and one will be an ambulant cubicle.
The all abilities cubicle is specifically designed to provide space for wheelchair access and assistance and will include features such as lower mirrors and washbasins, grab rails and braille signage.
The ambulant cubicle is smaller in size than the all abilities cubicle and provides access for community members who do not require the extra space that accessible toilets provide.
Yes, the all abilities cubicle will include a baby change station.
Yes, the toilets will be locked from dusk til dawn everyday.
Yes, the toilets will include external lighting with motion sensors.
All public toilets are cleaned at least daily, with those with higher usage cleaned twice a day. Toilets are monitored to ensure that cleaning is increased if visitation increases.
