Time for stage 2!

Youth Services has entered the second round of consultation with Young People and community members to help us make our Youth Resource Centre a comfortable, welcoming, safe and functional space for all that use it.

We want to know the type of furniture you'd like to see in the space to make sure we get it right!

The Youth Resource Centre supports the young community, aged 12-25, with counselling and mental health support, employment, general youth support services and youth programs.

Located at 86 Derrimut Road, updates to the Centre will include safe spaces for youth including the quiet room, multipurpose room, consulting room, the foyer, upgrading the kitchens to commercial facilities, the flooring, improved lighting and new furniture inspired by indigenous artwork.

Wyndham City will partner with the State Government to jointly contribute to funding the refurbishment of the Youth Resource Centre.

How to get involved

To help finalise our plans for the refresh, we want to hear from young people in Wyndham. What furniture and overall design would you like to see in the newly renovated space? .

Provide your feedback below before 11:59PM Sunday 13 August.
