New laws are proposed to make working from home a right for Victorians.

Under the proposed laws, if you can reasonably do your job from home, you will have the right to do so for at least two days a week, whether you work in the public or private sector.

The Victorian Government wants to hear from employees and businesses to ensure the proposed laws reflect the real-world experience of working from home, including what’s fair, what’s practical, and what’s already working in many workplaces.

Your views on work from home will shape further consultation.
