Exciting news! Park upgrade now complete
Wilandra Drive Park upgrade has been completed and is ready for the community to enjoy the new facilities, thanks to the State Government's Suburban Revitalisation Program Grant.
The new upgrade includes:- A new nature play
discovery area throughout the previously dense and unusable Pine Park
- new picnic tables under
a large new 6m x 4m picnic shelter
- foursquare Court and
Hopscotch
- drinking fountain with
dog bowl
- new fence to respond to community concerns of vehicles entering the park.

Next steps
Thank you again for contributing to the Wilandra Drive Park consultation process. The feedback provided valuable information that has assisted us with the preparation of the Landscape Concept Plan. A Consultation Report has also been created to summarise the online survey response data and additional feedback received during the consultation period. Both the Landscape Concept Plan and Consultation Report can be access via the links above.
The project now moves into the delivery phase with construction scheduled to commence mid-2023.
Changes are coming to Wilandra Drive Park
Wyndham City Council has secured $150,000 in funding through the State Government's Suburban Revitalisation Program to upgrade Wilandra Drive Park, Tarneit.
The park situated on a key active transport route and a short walk from Tarneit Station and Tarneit Central Shopping Centre. It is also near to a school precinct and the parks upgraded as part of the Tarneit Park Revitalisation Network.
The upgrade aims to provide an enhanced space for people to choose to recreate locally, visit new and improved spaces, and connect with one another. We’d love to hear about how you use the park.
