Thank you
The Community Engagement Report for the Werribee Library Relocation was noted at the July 23 2024 Council Meeting
What's happening?
Werribee Library has outgrown its current home in the Wyndham Cultural Centre where it has been since 2001.
Council is seeking community feedback on potentially relocating the Werribee Library to level 7 of 22 Synnot Street Werribee which is better recognised as the Werribee Holiday Inn.
About the new space
What many people don't know about 22 Synnot Street is that it also houses office, retail and other commercial spaces. It is also Wyndham's tallest building and features a large-scale mural that was completed late last year.
Watch the video below to get a feel for the new and exciting space and explore the proposed floorplans on the right hand side of this page.

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians
Wyndham City Council recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first Peoples of Australia. We acknowledge the Bunurong and Wadawurrung Peoples as Traditional Owners of the lands on which Wyndham City operates. The Wadawurrung and Bunurong Peoples have and always will belong to the Werribee Yalook (river), creeks, stars, hills and red clay of this Country. We pay respect to their Ancestors and Elders who always have, and always will, care for Country and community today and for future generations.
