Mulberry Precinct sits east of the town centre, between the Northern Civic Precinct and Skeleton Creek. Heritage sites along the creek are protected and celebrated in the design, created by east-west and north-south green connections, directing residents between the town centre and Skeleton Creek.

The precinct is bordered by high quality built form which provides a buffer between the town centre core and lower scale residential.

Mulberry Precinct is characterised by the centralised local park, which is co-located with the creek and forms a key element of the Green Lung.

Strong built form elements are directed towards the creek, creating an active and vibrant creek interface, with high priority on passive surveillance to ensure the Green-Lung is a well utilised and celebrated element of the Tarneit Major Town Centre.
