Project update - August 2024

Improvement works have been happening and are in their final stages. So far we have completed:

• Joseph Lanyon Reserve mural painted
• Market Road mural completed
• Awnings and front of businesses painted
• New signage installed and old electrical signage removed along shop fronts for each business
• Fresh lighting upgrades along the street front, along both mural walls and the back alley
• Bollards running along edge of Joseph Lanyon Reserve painted
• Fencing running along pizza and pasta shop replaced
• Existing swing removed and new climbing structure installed in Joseph Lanyon Reserve
• General concrete and landscape works

Upcoming works:

• Installation of new street furniture along the shopfronts

Vincent Crescent in Werribee is an important community hub ready to be refreshed.

The small shopping strip is home to a handful of businesses which include a restaurant and local services accessed by community members in the area.

After receiving funding via the State Government’s Living Local Fund, it's time for Vincent Crescent to be upgraded to make it more accessible for all to shop, visit and meet others.

What could the transformation include?

New plants and garden beds, modern street furniture, refreshed murals and footpath works are just a few ideas we have for the space but we're looking for more!

We want to turn Vincent Crescent into a local space built for locals. This is just the start for Vincent Crescent, there are opportunities for community members to take pride in this place and build community events or activities into the future.

We're looking for your ideas and feedback to help us create some exciting new changes to Vincent Crescent. There are lots of ways to give this space a helping hand and we want to hear what you think!
