Overview

Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) is considering potential options to upgrade the Point Cook Road and Central Avenue intersection.

Planning is underway for a potential future Point Cook Road and Central Avenue Intersection Upgrade in Altona Meadows, to improve safety, increase capacity, reduce travel times, and improve local active transport connections.

They are also investigating a potential future upgrade to Central Avenue, between Point Cook Road and Skehan Boulevard.

Planning is seeking potential solutions to:

  • cater for population growth and increased vehicle movements
  • reduce travel times
  • improve travel time reliability
  • improve safety.

Share your feedback

MRPV is seeking feedback from the community and businesses to help inform their planning and shape the development of design options for this project.

They want to know how you currently use the intersection, views on safety and traffic flow, any concerns you have and what they should consider in their planning. They also want to know how local businesses operate, and how businesses use the intersection.

Feedback can be provided in a number of ways:

  • complete an online survey
  • drop a pin with your comments; or
  • attend a community pop up session.
Feedback closes Sunday, 2 April 2023.

This project closed on Sunday 2 April.
