Thanks to everyone who shared their feedback on these planned public toilet locations across Wyndham.

The outcomes of the consultation on each site are:

• Everton Road Park – Truganina: 100% of responses from the community were in support of the proposed public toilet at Everton Road Park, Truganina. Public toilets will be constructed at this site.

• Hodgson Avenue Park – Tarneit: 100% of responses from the community were in support of the proposed public toilet at Hodgson Avenue Park, Tarneit. Public toilets will be constructed at this site.

• Tom Roberts Parade Reserve – Point Cook: 90.91% of responses from the community were in support of the proposed public toilet at Tom Roberts Parade Reserve, Point Cook. However, detailed investigation of the service connections necessary to service the playground area identified that the sewer connection across Boardwalk Boulevard would be high cost and high risk, likely resulting in the extended closure of the road. Unfortunately, public toilets will not be constructed at this site.

• Spearmint Boulevard Park – Manor Lakes: 75% of responses from the community were in support of the proposed public toilet at Spearmint Boulevard Park, Manor Lakes. Public toilets will be constructed at this site. However, a conflict between an underground High Voltage line and the proposed new sewer line means that we’re now proposing to construct the toilet block in a slightly different location—closer to the main entrance and next to the picnic area and arbour.

Construction on each site will begin in late 2025.
