Engagement closed in March

Thank you to everyone who participated. An engagement report will be available soon.

Wyndham City Council is excited to develop Creative Wyndham - a strategy that will celebrate our vibrant and creative community.

Creative Wyndham will act as a roadmap to help Council plan for the delivery of creative infrastructure, programs and growing creative industries to increase our city's vibrancy and creativity. Actions in the strategy will be delivered by various areas of Council to ensure that our community receives the best possible service and value across all creative activities and events programs.

Council has engaged consultant Hodyl & Co to draft the Creative Wyndham Strategy. The strategy will be designed to match the community’s values with the investments we make in the creative space. Why? Because it's important to meet our community's creative growth as our city continues to rapidly expand.

The Creative Wyndham Strategy will aim to identify:

  • A vision and framework to grow Wyndham's creative activities, events and industries.
  • What matters most to the community.
  • Putting our resources where they matter most to you.
  • Clarification of Council's role and yours so that we can bring Creative Wyndham to life!

How to get involved

We want to hear from as many people as possible, even if you do not currently attend or participate in creative activities and events.

Click on the + (below) to find out more on each topic.

To guide your thinking and survey responses about the creative opportunities we currently have on offer and how our creative scene can grow, please read the Creative Wyndham Discussion Paper.

We want to make sure your voice is heard loud and clear! Tell us about your experiences with creative activities and events in Wyndham, which will help shape Creative Wyndham.

The survey includes an open question that you may prefer to draft a response, then copy and paste the response in the survey. The question is:

What does a thriving, creative Wyndham look like in 2040?

Survey closes at: 11.59PM, Monday 18 March.

Chat with Council staff located at libraries, community centres and cultural venues who can help you with any questions or providing feedback.
