Golden Square Reserve upgrade complete
In December 2019, Council completed the upgrade of Hoppers Crossing's Golden Square Reserve, now featuring a new playground, walking paths, basketball court, picnic facilities and landscaping.
The new 300-metre circuit path will help fitness fanatics get up their steps, while the other features will keep families entertained. With tall trees planted and the grass refreshed, the park now has plenty of shade and greenery to help people stay cool.
The $660,000 upgrade is jointly funded by Wyndham City Council and the Victorian Government.
Consultation for this project has conclude. Thank you to everyone who contributed. Project updates will continue to be provided when the project moves into construction phase.
